When it comes to the age one should or can get married or engage in sexual intercourse we (in western society) don’t have a clear moral foundation to judge by. Prophet muhammad married a 9 year old girl; Aishah, the third wife of the prophet muhammad (the founder of islam).
When muhammad died in 632, aishah was left a childless widow.
